After Being Berated, Belittled, Accused Of almost every vile thing one might possibly Think of I must Tell You I do Not Care what people Have to Say about me I am Not here for the approval Of people who will believe anything they are told. You say You want to help the Homeless Yet You wont get Out from In front Of The Computer Long enough to do anything But have an Opinion. The trouble with That is Most and I am Not saying all of you Hold an opinion That has Been spoon fed to you. Let me be clear I am not talking to those of You who have sought the truth and have began to reach out yourselves, Helping where and when you can, I am talking to you the ones that believe You are Most Tre’sheik and trendy in your advocacy attempts.
I am In this Post Being Blunt Those of You who Know Me May want to stop reading Here!
As For the rest Of you to believe That anything you are told By any homeless advocate Who claims to speak for the Homeless Population at large Are more than Likely never going to understand What I am About to say. You are much too stupid to help the Homeless, You should Now start helping abandoned Puppies. You get Up everyday and interject yourself into conversations that you are utterly clueless about, You are willing in your stupidity To stand behind Homeless advocates Who are Championed as the Voice of the Homeless and When The Homeless Themselves tell you this person is abusive or simply marketing themselves and their organization you refuse to Look at the Facts.
Simply Because what? you are to Lazy to look at the facts you are presented with Or you are to much of a sheep to bother ? and must at the cost of walking off of a cliff blindly follow someone who has become your shepherd.
Let Me explain My anger, I have watched for Day’s As A man Claim’s He would never in any way Ever Harm A homeless Person Or a Person With a Mental Illness One minute when Trying to Justify His actions. And In The next breath tell everyone This same person Who has shed Light on His Darkness, Is Mentally Ill and Just Jealous and Must be stopped at all cost because He is detrimental to the cause. Wait what ? I would never Except in this case ? Well Excuse Me I am Pissed. at the shear lunacy of this person. The homeless person Who He has Lied about for over three month’s now has spoken His Mind and raised Valid Questions As to the Morality and ethics of This Homeless advocate.and There are many Regular everyday people out there who have seen the validity of these questions.
Yet Every time this Homeless advocate is confronted with the Facts presented He Spews Much Hatred, laying false claims that it is because this Homeless man Has Mental issues claiming that This Man has tried to Get Me and people I work with Fired. A blatant Lie yes the Homeless Man has presented The employers with the facts of unethical behavior, and has at times reached out and ask organizations praising Him to please look into His unethical and immoral behavior. I for one believe they do need to Look at His actions For one He lies when He says I would not abuse a homeless person, Yet I am going to over and over Lie about this homeless person who would dare to question Me.
I am Just A man Homeless for over 2 decades and I am now Living Inside No thanks to any homeless service agency There But By the Grace Of God Go I. I am Blessed and Many people Believe That I should Because I am Now Inside Keep My Mouth Shut and Not talk about the Abuses of the System The Over funding of Org’s That haver administration fee’s that Are Higher than the Actual Money spent on fixing the problem of Homelessness. Fact is I am the One Man who wants them All fired for The misallocation of funds that has taken Place Over the Last 2 decades.and the Misallocation of funds Is from the Dept of HUD in excess of 100’s and 100’s of billions of dollars. more than most can wrap their Minds around. enough for me to freely Right here Proclaim To all of you While being accused of Having a Agenda I freely admit To you that I do, If I thought It possible to have these Org’s Directors and executive directors And Board Members themselves bound over for trial in front of the world Court for crimes against Humanity I would Be on It.
I think at some point we Must if By force Get accountability into the Money that has been allocated for the Homeless Money That Belonged to the Homeless But was used as travel expenses and Living expenses going to Marketing seminar expenses. any thin dime that was misallocated should be accounted for.
Now In A more delicate, Manner Let Me say Only this, Everyone in the Homeless Fight Has An agenda, And when The Dept Of Housing and Urban Development Claims It is costing the American Tax payer over 68,000 Dollars a year Just to Keep Me on the streets and I couldn’t get a tooth pulled By the veterans administration in over 20 yrs spent on the street. and couldn’t get treatment for a broken vertebrae in My neck. never having seen a Dr For years because I was Homeless. Do I not have the right To Question anyone who says We are Helping. Do I not have the right to Question a Man who says I in no way abuse Mentally Ill People and in the same breath says I am attacking this person to let you know He is Mentally Ill.
And That is His Only Defense To Any allegation against Him is I don’t have to answer that The person Is Mentally Ill. Am I biased Yes I talk to this Man daily and can tell you He is Not mentally Ill He Has simply put truth’s out their for the world to see and Judge for themselves and Is now weary of being attacked By someone who Unwilling and Uneducated on the Facts simply follows along Blindly as Sheep.
Me I question almost everything. And I think you should To.If you don’t question authority in this day and age it is really really BaaaaaaaaD! Ewe Sheep’s May blindly follow But remember, that’s where we get Lamb chops!
Why Am I writing about this Again? Because I have the Utmost Faith That the Light will Outshine the Darkness! and sooner Or later Men And women Look For truth,and when They Find It it is not always as warm and fuzzy as they thought !!!

Remember God Doesn’t Make No Junk!
Until You have Lived under a Bridge, with a Vietnam vet who was A holder of the congressional Medal Of Honor and watch as He died 6 miles from a Veterans Hospital who refused to help Him unless He stopped drinking first, Or camped a mile outside of town because that was as close as you dare get because People didn’t want you in the town, only to come back to your Camp only to find the Man you learned to love as a Brother Has Killed Himself because He could No longer face the indignity of what He had Become. You can Not Nor do I expect anyone to understand, at best You can lend to me The Empathy You have for anyone who suffers or has suffered. And that is Fine and for me a step in the right direction.
I have often been accused of being a Hater, of Having an agenda, and of being full of vitriol. (and I freely admit I do, sorry If My agenda steps on some toe’s.) Also I can only assume they Meant that I was bitter and abusive and not full of sulfuric acid. I can tell you this for sure If in these comments It was Intended to insult me for Having great passion towards homelessness than I accept that. I do not accept however That I am what others have said I am simply because I openly and freely speak out against Organizations who are in the business of profiting from homelessness.
I started Blogging a Little Over one year ago, and I was confronted with the fact that another of My homeless friends Had died,alone and on the streets of one of the richest communities on the west coast. His Name Was Robert Bunch and He was found dead On 12/1/2010 To me He will always Be Bobby. He died In my opinion because He did not want to be fixed. There was No grand epitaph nor did droves of people attend his burial. what there was and still is a small band of brothers and sisters who called him friend, I being only One. I received This e-mail shortly after I had began to blog saying I thought You would want to know Bobby Died. The Local Santa Barbara News Ran a small byline explaining He had died of exposure possible linked to alcohol. Anyone having Known Bobby would have not seen this as a stretch.

I think I had at that Time Made Up My Mind To never Again Remain Silent As to the truth of The Homeless services industry, ( I cringe Calling it that But it is as the Industry Demands) I call them The profiteers of Homelessness, Because I have gone to great length’s To Look at these Organizations and can tell You there are few Non Profit Org’s That Are truly Non Profit. Because When You have Boards Of directors Executive Directors and Administrators entrenched in these Org’s that for years have brought Home six digit salaries while People they Help or claim to Help struggle to Come up with The 90$ a week program fee and the rest of the industry exist simply to Give referrals to these agencies so that at each point in the persons struggle to go from the streets to a house,there is always another referral to someone else who’ waiting to skim more of the cream from the top. Something is seriously wrong!
And The Song remains the same, And The only Job these agencies are beholden to is that at the next annual fund allocation there is still a need for them. No One in this industry is actively trying to work themselves out of a Job and herein lies the problem.The saddest thing is that it has become both a secular and non-secular Agenda.
Even faith based Initiatives have instituted policies which for the past 2 decades that I am aware of Do Not work. And they go on singing each others praises attacking and doing everything in their power to silence any voice of decent.
My best recommendation is simply this If indeed You want to help a homeless person get together with your friends your church your family, and try to impact the life of one individual, not the homeless society as a whole Ask that one person what they need don’t try to fix them educate them or turn them into a productive Member of society remembering always society itself has become unproductive. We don’t need fixed. We need friendship Love and compassion just like anyone else.
Because I can almost Guarantee you one thing If devoid of your Family and friends If every one Church Body Decided They where going to help one Homeless person Before Long instead of fighting over doctorial differences they would before you know it be fighting over who’s going to help the next person needing it.
You see Homelessness is not going to be solved By Some Org or some government grant, or private sector donations. it going to be solved By people Who Just want to Help and Have no Need for the person to be changed First.

Homeless Hotspots The 4g Human Routers! And The true reason For successful Marketing!
Why is A marketing agency able to capitalize Off of something so Stupid and meaningless as Homeless Hotspot The 4G Human Routers?
Why because They were so successful in there previous marketing campaign, as pertaining to exploiting the Homeless, we were all afforded the opportunity to walk in the lives of 4 New York homeless men as they shared with us the daily struggle of being in a NYC shelter. they where given a cell phone and a twitter account and away we went. for a month + we were kept apprised of the adventures of these 4 Homeless men. My only question to anyone do you now know where these Men are? or for that matter does anyone from this marketing firm Know?
the answer to that would Be No. as after there initial interaction with the 4 homeless men they didn’t keep you up to date on there progress or Lack thereof', simply because the men went back to just being 4 homeless men in and out of the NYC shelter system. and everyone soon forgot the marketing firm that claimed they were doing a great thing for Homeless people. and here they are again using Homeless people to further their cause. Why Because there is a Market for It and some Homeless advocates are never questioned as to their motives and simply are willing to stand with anyone who lays claim to the Phrase we are helping.When In fact not everyone who says they are helping indeed are.
Now I am Going to let you in on the real secret of their success, They succeed because Community, Society and Most importantly the Church Has failed their fellow Man and they are able to step in and fain Compassion where true Human compassion should Have sprung Forth.
This should Not be so, There is no way They should Have been able to do this in a country where Church’s out number the Homeless by over 4 to 1. Because In a country where there are more Church’s than Homeless people there should Be No homeless people, Just saying

Misunderstood
The biggest misunderstanding I am faced with now is the belief of some people that I am a homeless advocate, or an activist. of which I want to be clear I am neither!
I am simply a man who lived Homeless on the streets for over 2 decades and Got seriously sick of others perception that in order to help a homeless person you must come up with a plan to fix them, and that if they don’t want to be fixed they must not want help. I am only now beginning to realize that is never going to change. It is the approach that is used by almost every homeless service agency in this country. and it is the number one reason why they are failing.
after living so long on the streets and a life of interacting with hardly anyone but homeless people, I know that when people talk about a homeless person they believe doesn’t want help they are simply talking about someone who they have misunderstood, and when they say they don’t want help they are only saying they refuse to let anyone fix them. When the reality is the highest percentage of homeless people neither want or need to be fixed. What they do need and want is some compassion Love and understanding from their fellow Human Beings.
This should though It never maybe, the basis and the start point for anyone who desires to Help the Homeless.
There are people who claim to be Helping the Homeless, that I have seen make statements Like They are beyond repair, they cant be helped, I have and wouldn’t approach Him, I didn’t want to Shake His Hand He may have something, they are Just a Bum, They don’t want to better themselves. This too me is very disturbing and it disgust Me Personally , because it is representative and what most, short term homeless, formally homeless,and those who have never experienced homelessness, hold as a pervasive attitude. an attitude which has deeply entrenched itself in what these people choose to call the homeless help, or homeless services industry.
Do not misunderstand I do not truly fault them It is a bill of goods that they have been sold by an industry that thrives on the misfortune of others. Many people Jump into this fight and have for decades with the purist of intent they just want to help and they are drawn too and deceived by the profiteers of homeless What many call poverty Pimps, simply because they are the only ones who are funded and are capable of putting forth a public relations campaign which highlights their miniscule degree of success, and overshadows their failures.
The Grass root efforts which consist of small groups of people who only wish to meet peoples basic needs feeding them clothing them and building of Basic Human relationships with them do not have the funding or the ability to do the same, what these small Grass roots efforts do have is the drive to continue facing all odds and obstacles always looking for a way to help.
They continue to serve feeding people in their house in the backyard in parking lots and public parks suffering none to change to , But Just to come and partake of what little they have to help with! they are people from all walks of life who believe a Man is always worthy of a handshake or a Hug, and They know a woman who’s last Change of clothes was something someone threw away, is still lovable. They do not judge people too have a need to change, as a prerequisite to their compassion. They Just do what they Know is right for someone who is a part of, the brotherhood of Man.
I would only say Ask yourself before you call you’re self a Helper what do you believe? and Do you want to Help The Homeless Or the Industry? Are you Looking to Further Your Fellow Man Or The Cause?
If You feel it A need To fix People and Their Lives You also have Misunderstood. Just Love And Let The Spirit Do the Rest.

The new way to hate, Or so it seems
You can think what you Like Of Me And I am warned By others that I should Not engage with Others That are In denial of the truth. I have And will probably again Lose friends because of My tenacity for the truth and for Justice. I have always Been Honest with People. I have told everyone I was At one time in My life the Lowest of the Low. I Had If you read My Bio Fallen as far as a Man Could Fall, It is the truth Not Just something I say. I still have issue’s with Which I deal with on a daily Basis. But I can assure all of you this Even at the risk Of Hurting someone’s feelings I do Not Holdback when It comes to that which I believe To Be true.
I have said before Read and Find Out for yourself recently I posted a Post which elicited a Very Hateful Response from @hardlynormal and some of His followers Mark In kind responded To the Post with what I believe To be His same Old rhetoric He spouts to everyone who will listen In the avoidance of the truth! I want to be clear, I went out on a limb and exposed myself on my last post I like so many could just sit back and say nothing, about someone who relies on peoples apathy to continue his charade which is portraying to the world he does more for the homeless than any other person on the planet, and the truth is he will help the homeless no matter what he has to do, too them, to do it!

First In marks response He starts With a Blatant Lie misleading people to believe that I am without Honor stating I emailed Him that I would never do anything like this again referring to an exchange that went on from Aug 19 to Sept 27 from many post I wrote during that time on this blog, Nowhere in these post did I tell mark I was not going to engage in exposing Him for the fraud He was, and never did I e-mail Him to that effect either I at the end of that time apologized to everyone who had been subjected to our ranting's And this is the E-mail Mark received claiming to be included in the Post he listed as it had responders to it they will tell you it was an apology to all not to mark I did e-mailed Him this however

lets address that, in Marks response, mark has claimed Greg Staffa Has attacked and Hurt Children, His Sponsors, and people who work for His sponsors, youth Organizations, Medical Workers And Homeless People themselves wow that is some claim.
Wait question Here Why would if you claim someone to be mentally Ill would you encourage Your kool-aid Drinkers to attack them? My thoughts are it's an act Of desperation.
These Claims one must first understand are unfounded and simply rhetoric, to distract people from the truth of Greg’s video’s, the claims themselves have been discounted by sponsors organizations and yes the kid in question himself. And I say Praise God they are. I would Like to Point Out However That By Definition Interjecting your thoughts into a conversation In a public Domain to illicit an emotional response which is what He was doing, when we Met. Is the textbook definition of trolling which He now seems to have a problem With, and claims it to be vile and unethical, Yet we all Belong to a website built around trolling Welcome to twitter. You want to praise and claim social media helps the homeless yet you don’t want people who disagree with you to have that same advantage of social media, to use it if we hold a dissenting view or ask question’s unlike the homeless people whom you provided a voice for, rather than the voice we found on our own, you would like us to just go away, I for one will not if the people who have for decades failed the homeless can sing their own praises, I can sing their criticisms, the only one attacking anyone is you because I want people to see the truth and make informed decisions like I said in my last post.

lets address that, in Marks response, mark has claimed Greg Staffa Has attacked and Hurt Children, His Sponsors, and people who work for His sponsors, youth Organizations, Medical Workers And Homeless People themselves wow that is some claim.

Choice !
There are Always In this Life Choices, On this I believe All People across All cultures Weather they Be Racial, Religious, Political, Gender Or any other line That Make up the diversity Of the Human Race. I would Say Myself And from What Little Learning And Education I do Have The Only Bad Choices we really have Are one’s That Are Made With Bad Judgment Or while Being Ill Informed.
This Is what I would Like To Speak too, Ill Informed Decisions, As I have for the Last couple Of days seen Many people Make Ill Informed Decisions Based On Their Heart Or compassion On the subject Of Homelessness And It is something that Over the Last year + I have watched While being Engaged with People On social Media Such as Twitter, Facebook, Blogger,Google+, and Others All to often.
While presented with Facts and blinded by compassion and the feeling of loyalty to a Cause The truth Is often Ignored and The facts Get discarded for what We believe is right.
I have A friend Greg Staffa who Some May Know As @StaffaRoadTrip, @Homelessdefend, Or Just Greg. He has Made A video Presenting People with the Facts and simply The Facts Out of His Desire For Justice, And His will To strike Back At what He perceives as Injustice. And Because He is A friend I stand Behind His Passion Because He is Doing It seeing That There Is Something Going On that Is Just Not right In His eye’s and the eye’s of those that care to look.
Many of you may read this and say He is Defending Greg Because Greg Is a friend Greg Himself would Tell you Joseph Has no Problem Telling you If He disagrees with You.
I first meet Greg While I was Living On the streets In Oregon I was Introduced to Greg By a Friend Who Had told Me He was traveling around the country Doing a 48state Capitol Road trip To bring awareness to Homelessness. My First Response was What people aren’t aware? I Tweeted Back and forth with Greg with Greg and He was Honest with Me I told Him My friend said to talk to him and I could Use some socks I have to admit that My interest Was Peaked I had to meet a man traveling around Handing out socks to bring awareness to homelessness in 48 states.
I met Greg That Evening He showed Up At the Military Recruiting station I was hanging out at In a small strip mall In Oregon, and not only did He have Socks He Had Hot Chocolate and as It was the first Of Many Bitter cold days we were to have it was Most welcome, What truly Impressed Me With @StaffaRoadTrip was before We parted ways He went to His car and He dug Out a sleeping bag and turned to me and said Here You are gonna need this It is Gonna Get cold! I said is this the only sleeping bag you have Because of my concern that He had said he was sleeping in His car but He was adamant on Me taking it simply saying I Have a car I can always just start it and turn on the Heat. Well Greg and I are Now Close friends We are now both off of the streets Thanks to a couple of beautiful People In Minnesota Who have Give us a Place to Live and A little work and an opportunity to regain a foothold On life. It is Thanks Be first To God And Than To The tool of social Media.
I would Like too encourage all to Go to Gregs Link which He recently Posted On Social Media Using the Hashtag #Naeh12, and View the Blog Post of Gregstaffa.com I ask you to do so with an open Heart and Mind and actually see the chain Of events that Has led Greg To Call attention to the abuse That is and has been perpetrated By The voice Of the Homeless. I would Also Like For people reading His Blog post to set aside there Feelings Of Loyalty or dedication To A cause And Think Of The Impact Of what Is being said In the Videos
Mark Horvath Calls Homeless Terrorist , Empower Or Exploit As you read the Blog and view the video’s Ask yourself Have you or do you care to make informed decisions, Because either ways You do so By choice, I Made the choice some month’s ago To have A get in your face attitude with Greg Staffa Because I felt He was standing in the shadows waiting for something to happen and what he really needed to do was take a stand And I encouraged Him in doing so. And I now stand behind Him In His decision to no longer allow what He feels to be injustice go without notice And I stand with all of you who decide to By choice Stand Or Not against injustice.
And On a Personal Note as I know that posting these video’s and reaching out to #Naeh12 participants, Was not the Hijacking of a Hashtag It was A homeless man Giving His Opinion in the platform of social Media on A ending Homelessness event and A homeless Person More so Than Most has a Claim To this Hashtag Because It is The one opinion That needs Be listened To and the Organizations That Participate in these events Need To start listening to the concerns of all homeless people not Just the one’s who they have Furthered along for the betterment of their cause. And the People who blindly follow These people claiming to help the homeless who decide to attack homeless people who have an opinion about the one’s you choose to help us, If we are not allowed that opinion freely you need to go back to your crystal towers, and allow us our opinion we don’t really need your help if our opinions don’t matter.
And Here’s my opinion
I guess the respect stops with the camera’s as you sent many tweets this week attacking someone for making a video and approximately 6 tweets and showed encouragement to your kool-aid drinkers why they to attacked Him and after 2days worth of degrading tweets none of which at anytime addressed the claims of you exploiting and taking advantage of the Homeless all just trying to discredit the truth he presents then laid to the claim.
That this person Is Mentally Ill to further Your cause Of blinding people to the truth’s that you in every case of being called on have fought with this rhetoric. It Is you who people are beginning to see through when presented with the truth!
And The Homeless cant afford another Empire Built on their Backs!!!!
WE ARE NOT TERRORIST, WE ARE EXPLOITED AND ABUSED, AND WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED THROUGH LIES AND DECEPTION AT ANYTIME. BECAUSE THIS WAS OUR INFORMED CHOICE!!!

Understanding "Homeless People"
It Is something Often not thought Of By Many, To Truly Understand “Homeless People” We must first understand that “there is nothing new Under the Sun” and There is Truly No such thing as a Homeless Person There is Simply a view of society as A whole of there Being “Homeless People” There Is, However In our society, If You will, Many People who are In real terms Disenfranchised, without A house, by inability Or refusal to be a part of their community or political Upheaval, and economic Or Mental instability, they Become outcast from our society as a whole!
Never the less they are not homeless No more so than you, God forbid, It is possible that anyone may become victim of the same circumstance, from the richest to the least of our society we all have the capability to become The victim of the societies pitfalls, War, the fall of an empire, Human rights violations, The strong conquering the weak, you name it, and in the end Like every other Man woman Or Child Welcome to Earth The only Home you will truly ever Have You can in no way be Homeless The Earth Is Yours It is Mine It is Ours, Yes the earth Is Home To us all.
Now What we choose to call the “Homeless People” are Just people without a House The Disenfranchised, Impoverished, And Those struggling to survive.
The problem we face in dealing with these people like myself, Is this as I see it, we Must first view them as People Not as “Homeless people.” In Doing this we Open a wide range of doors when it comes to Helping People, we then, Would Begin to look to their needs rather than Our perception of their needs, Because Our perception is That we need to give every person a House, So They can become more like us, and there is a real reason This is not working. that being outside of , Food, Water, And Remnants. Our needs as a whole have great diversity. How can we continue to Serve people as a group when they are indeed Individuals, Yes Some people that are un-housed Want a House Indeed some desire to be Housed. Do we continue To discount those who do Not and say they are beyond redemption, they are too far Gone.
Is this the reason why Programs and transitional housing is failing? could it be be that rather than Meeting the needs of Our fellow man we are trying to dictate too them what we see to be their need? Because all the housing models we have, Themselves have a very Low success rate. We spend Millions upon Millions of Dollars annually to House people the vast majority of which do not stay Housed. Simply because They perceive for themselves a different life than the One we have molded for them. Not every person living on the streets feels as if their greatest need is a house so what is it we must ask ourselves that drives us to perceive it as being their need?
What it is, That drives us is that we have become convinced that everyone should be living the American dream and in that we have stripped from others the ability to dream For themselves. And If that dream somehow differs from that of others it is discounted and they are then viewed as weird or different, Un-helpable, But that is not so. I have by Post in the Past and a great deal of research Shown that The average cost to build an affordable housing unit is without cost overrun approximately 168,000 dollars per. and then to say we are going to move A Person in this Unit that desires A 2 acre tract of land with a septic system and a well and a chain saw to build a home of His own at the cost of 70,000 dollars is in and of itself poor planning on behalf of those who claim to be helping. we can not continue to lay claim to meeting the needs of “Homeless People” without first asking what that need Is.
My Greatest complaint with the Homeless Help industry Is This They Claim to be helping The homeless and Are receiving The vast Majority of Funding to do Just that. Yet They Are Failing And Have decided To continue doing what they have Been trying for decades, and seeing their failures They change names They change programs and they change their client Pool, Now they don’t claim to be trying to help all the Homeless Just those That are Most at risk,The chronically Homeless. Let Me explain something To All Homeless Help agencies and Those That Support Them There Are Only Chronically Homeless people Because Of decades Of Failure.
Organizations For One You calling it an Industry Excuse Me Sucks We are Not An industry We Are People, We are Individual Lives And We Are Someone’s Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Mother , Father, And Friend. You Can Not continue to Use your few Homeless Success Stories to Further Your Cause And Hide from Us Your failures, Claiming Failures are Only Those who don’t want Help!
Because There is Not a Person Out here among us that Doesn’t want Help, Sometimes it Just Not the Help that Is being Offered. So If you want to Help “Homeless People” Try Something New And truly innovative Try asking “Homeless People” What do You need And stop assuming It’s The American dream Especially In a Day and age where the American Dream Is Becoming A thing of the Past, Like Your Approach to solving the Problem Should have Long ago.

Because all the housing models we have, Themselves have a very Low success rate. We spend Millions upon Millions of Dollars annually to House people the vast majority of which do not stay Housed. Simply because They perceive for themselves a different life than the One we have molded for them. Not every person living on the streets feels as if their greatest need is a house so what is it we must ask ourselves that drives us to perceive it as being their need?
What it is, That drives us is that we have become convinced that everyone should be living the American dream and in that we have stripped from others the ability to dream For themselves. And If that dream somehow differs from that of others it is discounted and they are then viewed as weird or different, Un-helpable, But that is not so. I have by Post in the Past and a great deal of research Shown that The average cost to build an affordable housing unit is without cost overrun approximately 168,000 dollars per. and then to say we are going to move A Person in this Unit that desires A 2 acre tract of land with a septic system and a well and a chain saw to build a home of His own at the cost of 70,000 dollars is in and of itself poor planning on behalf of those who claim to be helping. we can not continue to lay claim to meeting the needs of “Homeless People” without first asking what that need Is.
My Greatest complaint with the Homeless Help industry Is This They Claim to be helping The homeless and Are receiving The vast Majority of Funding to do Just that. Yet They Are Failing And Have decided To continue doing what they have Been trying for decades, and seeing their failures They change names They change programs and they change their client Pool, Now they don’t claim to be trying to help all the Homeless Just those That are Most at risk,The chronically Homeless. Let Me explain something To All Homeless Help agencies and Those That Support Them There Are Only Chronically Homeless people Because Of decades Of Failure.
Organizations For One You calling it an Industry Excuse Me Sucks We are Not An industry We Are People, We are Individual Lives And We Are Someone’s Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Mother , Father, And Friend. You Can Not continue to Use your few Homeless Success Stories to Further Your Cause And Hide from Us Your failures, Claiming Failures are Only Those who don’t want Help!
Because There is Not a Person Out here among us that Doesn’t want Help, Sometimes it Just Not the Help that Is being Offered. So If you want to Help “Homeless People” Try Something New And truly innovative Try asking “Homeless People” What do You need And stop assuming It’s The American dream Especially In a Day and age where the American Dream Is Becoming A thing of the Past, Like Your Approach to solving the Problem Should have Long ago.

Social Media And Homelessness Does it work For the Homeless ?
I can tell you this Much It does and It does Not! Now I would Guess That People would Like me to explain that statement, Ok It does Or it Has for people Like Myself Who through social Media was able to make friends that effectually helped to change My life in the terms of a place to live and A small part time Job with which I now have the ability to create change in My life even further. I am And have always said I am blessed. But enough about Me. Lets talk about other homeless.
I contend That the claims Made by some delusional individuals recently That 100 percent of Homeless people are on facebook or twitter is ignorant and the vast Majority of Homeless people Are not Or do not have the means To be active on social Media. And In the Last year of Me being Homeless I can tell you Most thought Me to Be Mad Simply because I was active on the Internet They felt As If, Like most People in Houses I would Have better spent My money on anything rather than a Notepad. And I have spent time with Homeless people all over this country so the claim that 100 percent of homeless people are active on social Media such as facebook is not only false but It is at best a deception to meet one’s own ends. There are also those that would have you believe that The homeless people that they do interact with are The A typical Homeless Men and women that are on your street corners begging and flying signs and simply trying to survive, Fact Is most people on the internet that are homeless are seeking resources trying to break through a wall of separation between them and the people lending a continuum of care. IE. Homeless service Organizations.
As These Organizations and Not the Homeless themselves are the One’s reaping the Benefits Of Social Media, Because By there own statements and there outreaching of support for each other they Claim they are now able to reach a vastly diverse population rather than the Normal annual Mailing crowd that they were confined to before the brave new world of social Media.
But what benefit does this Lend to the Homeless well it makes it much easier for these Homeless Services Organizations To continue the great work that many of them Have been doing for decades. It Is a New arena In which To be able to Fund their Failure. It Is for the Homeless a Guarantee That They will be able to Go to these Organization’s and be referred to some other Organization, Or Referred To a Shelter that Is supported by a recent community development grant.
So I am telling you that, Social Media Helps the Homeless but very Few and If You are one of the ones Like myself Who see’s the same Organizations doing the same things only in a different venue, and You try to raise people awareness to the fact that they are merely pulling the wool over peoples eye’s and all of there programs have been sold before and are just being repackaged and sold again,and that they will soon start another Organization and start selling again, A year latter when they have changed Their name and started reselling this package, You will be Just a homeless man with a Chip on His shoulder, who just cant get along with the “do-gooder's.”
But I ask you This Why else would a Homeless advocate, Advocate that You not Give to the Homeless But Give to them Instead Because they are more aware of what the Homeless need than the Homeless themselves, A true Homeless advocate will tell you we don’t care what cause you give to or what homeless person you give to Just do something and they are out there these true homeless advocates the unsung heroes of the Homeless they are the ones who’s praises are not sung they are the one’s who meet the daily immediate need of the Homeless, pleading only that you also share the effort. And Share the Love. A true Homeless advocate you will find Feeding people in there Back yard when It flies in the face off their neighbors. They will be found Traveling around the country with There friends and Loved one’s giving of all that has been given Them, They will be found proclaiming gratitude for being able to help those in need, They will be doing what they do with no questions ask because They are answering a calling to Love there fellow man, and Not a calling to increase their Funding.
The sad part for Me is there are enough Homeless people on social Media That we could effectually Change the world If We stepped away from the Organizations who would Use us as there next cry for their Help, and Help ourselves to Help others Like Us. We are Our Own Voice and we Help Ourselves Most By not lending it to others But By giving it freely to each Other.

Never At A Loss
I have always Been A person Who is Never at a Loss For words, That is Until recently In My life As I have been often distracted as to where My life Is going and the direction it has now taken. I for years was Defined by myself and others as a homeless man and I am now finding that I am so Much More.
I was Happy with being homeless, My homeless Story was Not one of despair nor was it ever one Of Hopelessness, while for years I struggled with myself in my fight against addiction and alcoholism I some 14yrs ago overcame even that struggle and have not drank Or returned to my Junkie ways since. More importantly I became comfortable with Me and Who I was. As A Human being, and I faced the reality Of no matter My station In life I will always still Be Me. I am Human, I am a Man And I have everything a Person can Have to offer to others I have within Me the ability To Love and To share my friendship and compassion with those who I come into contact with.
First and foremost I found that in any situation I must first be willing to give of myself, I can not live in any instant as if I have nothing to give I found that the greatest gift of all I have been given was My voice. I can at all times stand on the truth and I can make others aware of those things which I find to be true for me. In doing that I have often Found People often wish To confuse fact and Opinion for instance it is My opinion that The homeless services agencies and org’s are failing, That Is My opinion! I arrived at that opinion by researching the Money that is spent on the homeless problem,and Finding that the greatest percentage of this funding is spent on administrative fee’s and advertising, while community development Grants are wasted on programs that only contribute to the endless supply of Homeless individuals themselves by temporarily housing them and there by insuring when the next grant allocation period rolls around the need is still there! This is Fact ! And one that Has been so For 2 decades. So while often as of Late I have been silent on the facts I am still here and not at a loss for words I have simply put been getting my second wind, and will continue to expose Organizations Like Common Grounds, Path Partners, 100Khomes Path achieve , Ascencia,Union Gospel Missions, Salvation Army, and any other Org that Lives their lives for the Furtherance of their organization at the cost of the Homeless themselves. Because this is not opinion this is Fact!
So you see You have not silenced Me you have only strengthened My resolve To expose you for the Frauds and profiteers of Homelessness that you are see because with out you we could address the problem of Homelessness being a problem, of Basic Human Rights and not have you cloud the issue by maintaining a hard line that says A supportive Housing Model that hasn’t worked in decades is still the Best, your failure has oppressed us the Homeless and Formerly Homeless to the point of us Taking action And social Media And peoples vexation of their Spirit because of an ongoing problem.will Only Further Us In our cause, Because everyone is tired of Organizations that are helping us into our Graves.

Like It Or Not I am Still Joseph2Dogs
After writing this Post I am Sure there are those that will say, Damn he’s at it again Some will Bully you go Joseph some will say cant we all just get along, whatever it drives you to say feel free to say it I the comments section if Just to remind yourself one way or the other that you have taken a stand.
I started This Blog approximately 14 month’s ago and I told people of My failure as a man not being a good father a good husband a good church member or a good member of society as far as that Goes. after that time I for some month’s went on to plead with people to think about what we are doing and to stand with me looking for a alternative solution because what we have been faced with is not working and has not worked for over 2 decades. I found some people believed what I was telling them and some that thought me to be utterly insane, The Jury is still out on that point!
What I can now tell you is this I was after being ridiculed and ostracized for over 9month’s I was criticized to the point of near silence by people who in the effort to silence the truth were adamant in that I daily received accusations of being full of Hate and vitriol, my near silence came from my Knowledge that nothing could be farther from the truth and it was my inability to convey The message that was making people feel this way towards Me.
For being a man that In the simplest way try's to share with you the truth of what people with a heart to overcome homelessness in their lives or the Lives of others a faced with, I in essence had merely chalked up to My life another failure.
I have watched as Common Ground with Ms Roseanne Hagerty over the last 2 decades. and through Their Numerous endeavors,acting as a guide post for pathways to housing, Path achieve, Path, Path partners,project restart and numerous other brainchildren of the housing first model long term supportive housing, where utter failures, and people lent to them there support out of there desire to help, often singing there praises along the way and all of the money allocated for the battle against homelessness was absorbed and vanished into the ether as it were, the last year many have been consumed in the efforts to house 100thousand most at risk individuals through 100k homes. while the path organizations around the country change their names because people through hearing of their activities have began to question there motives and ask are you profiting from homelessness, some now have new fresh names like Ascencia all the while doing what they do best Paying themselves to refer people to people who will in turn refer them to other people, after counting them and paying themselves. It sucks to hear I know, But I refer you now to the top of this page and the quote By Lao Tzu, Because I really want you to hear this!~ we are now 18 months into a 100k homes campaign these peoples(Common Grounds)brain child being adopted around this country and overly funded by you the American tax payer and house 100k homeless Americans it is another utter failure after 18months it has housed only 10300+ at risk Americans and of those Housed only 83percent remain so. after 18months this is failure people but of course I told you a year ago this would happen but hey I am Only Joseph2dogs a Man more aware of the truth than people would have you believe!
My problem is I am not afraid to talk about it or to tell you all, Hell no we cant all just get along there actions directly result in people dying on the streets.and They do it because people believe they are just trying to help!

This Not So Homeless Life.
For the first Time in a while I am posting, Not as Many of my previous Post on the abuses of The system by Homeless help Organizations which I know to be taking place in this country or about Homelessness It self But rather about the now lack thereof in one mans Life, Mine.
I have been blessed these last few month’s To no Longer be Living a Homeless Life, And I now fell as If I am deceptive if in that Blessing I continue To Blog and share and try to convey any kind of a fruitful message In the struggle to overcome Homelessness, if I continue to do It, on A blog that states this Homeless Life, as It’s claim and Title.
There are many Men and women that Live a homeless Life, and It is one of true struggle, The Life I now live is not one of struggle Outside of the struggle I now face within myself, trying to find what Is my Identity because The man I once Identified with is Rapidly fading Into my past. While I view this as a Good thing, it is a Challenge to say the least. As If a Dear friend is dying and I am perplexed always By a flood of emotion. Because There is a part of me that wants Him laid to rest and a Part of Me that wants To resuscitate Him. Do I buy Flowers or a get well soon card? Can I be Honest In saying I am No longer Homeless? When The Man Inside of Me has Not yet adapted To his New Life. I can tell you this after all the Homeless years I spent on the streets Never has My struggle for survival Been as Great as it is Now!
All the ranting and all of the Fact Checking and all of the records evaluations and program development literature that I have read in the past do not in anyway reveal the true problem of what organizations have become geared towards Helping those most at risk are faced with supportive housing over the past 2 decades since it was conceived has had A failure rate Of approximately 80 percent Since I can not get people to listen in telling them that these models do not work and are not helping in getting people off of the streets except in very rare cases, let me try and convey this to every Homeless advocate Help organization and person trying to help end this Plague we are faced with Supportive housing does not end when You get a person In a house It is There that It begins.
I have been blessed where others have Not I have friends Who are helping and I have others who still are or have been homeless to talk to and I have Faith, That God Has placed Me where I am today, if we aren't going to Change the way Homeless people are Housed at least lets make it work. Remember Approximately 80 Percent of Homeless People Housed Return To homelessness at Some point most within the First Year! This WE Can Change. Peoples Lives Depend On it.

I guess I wouldn’t be such an idiot if I adopted your , I am owed something attitude. But I do not believe that I or any other homeless person is owed anything by entitlement.
I could give you many examples of homeless People who have impacted others but you obviously don’t believe, Homeless people are capable of anything. As you stated you can’t do anything without a house. with the stupidity of your statement you discount many who have been homeless and accomplished Much , Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, George Orwell, Bhudha ,Jim Carrey Kurt Cobain, Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D. Steven Pressfield, Col. Harlan Sanders I could Go On. While your Blog post Today I might have a job offer, so why am i not happy?

JOHN 13:31-35 Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
It Is Being Who I am what I hope To achieve In this Life, Being able to be recognized as A Disciple Of Christ Jesus ( A learner,A Pupil) I believe Myself To Be this While Knowing I am Not One at the Head of the class, More often Than Not I am The One in the Corner with the Dunce Cap! But I am Working On it.
And this is the Beauty of Being Who I am I Have that Grace! I Do live in the Hope However That I will allow Myself to be led By God That In Him I will be Perfected The promise Given Me.
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
This to Me Is the Wonder Of His Love, Thinking of Me and Thinking Good things.What I have yet To achieve I have often said I love someone yet at times My thoughts of them are not always so, Hmm Boy trials. But I am working on it!
I question Myself always on these worldly matters That I am Often faced with, Can a Christian Love a Muslim and pray for victory For the Men battling them? for me the answer Is I Know A simple No, Because We are instructed to Love our enemies! Yet why Lord do those with whom I find myself at odds or pitted against in My daily walk less deserving of this View or respect? My leaders Who Are failing so Proficiently Lord why do I despise so Much there actions? The Evil With which we are faced Daily In our Lives Lord The Abusers Of Children and the Oppressors of Mankind Why Can I not have those Thoughts of peace towards Them? These are a few of the things I do Not Know, But I am Working On it!
What I do Know is this Most the things When I step back And look at them That perplex me are indeed things of this world, And Things which I do Not want to be a Part of My Life, Because They matter very little to who we really are! If indeed We try to live as Per the instruction Of God. I am Working on it!
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
So It is In this Hope I live and That I pray For those My Brothers and Sisters Who are alien To this world, That In the End We Might Achieve a Like Mind for each other! And A greater Love!

Happy Veterans Day My Brothers In arms.
Dedicated To those Who Served In times Of War And times Of Peace. In the belief That They Were Serving there Fellow Man. Many of you who are on the streets are Us Veterans an estimated 48% of The Homeless are Veterans. To You My Homeless Homie’s God Bless you For your service. Wish I was There with you today. As I am Not I have Been Blessed. Today I stop And think Of you All and The friendship you share with Others out there and Have shared with Me. I Pray For A world were those who Have served There Fellow Man would Not suffer the Indignities Of being On the streets as You Have.

And While We do sleep safely In Our Beds Many Of these Men Do Not Have One Those Who So Proudly Served, Do Something Today For One Of them If You Can!

Things are what they Are!
We Live In a World where things are what they are, we don’t have to agree with them and By degree we differ as to are opinion of the way things are, Many people in these uncertain times we live in would tell you they are doing better than they have been in years, While the majority would not agree with that.
The problem as I see it is that Many people have bought into the justification of why things are the way they are, and In there own minds lent themselves too that justification thus allowing things to Never Change. saying always that is Just the way things are, and that simply because Mankind as a whole has been trained by a failed education system and Leadership in just being willing to accept it. To speak out against it or to brings upon one every criticism known too Man people begin to look at you as if you are strange or different They will slander you and belittle you with Lies and threats and all Of this Because they have Learned To settle and you have Not.
These are the people who never Grasp Mankind as a whole What it is, Is that they by there very Nature have become a part of a People who believe that Entitlement belongs only to them and they are driven By greed. It‘s all about them and what they have done. They will tell you in matters of Human rights That is fine to believe people deserve a house, Who is going to pay for it? fine people need food Who is going to pay for it? Not truly seeing the real picture that Few have taken the worlds resources hostage and exploit every people of every nation with there, who is going to pay for it? attitude. They will all continue to climb to the top over the backs of Many Because things are what they are !
Here Is a small known fact to all of mankind there are 36,794,240,000 acres of habitable land on the face of this planet and they do not belong to anyone they do however belong to each and every 6,852,472,823. of us Man woman and Child and to try to confine Men to live as others would see fit because Corporations and governments have tried to lay claim to over 83% of our lands forcing mankind to watch in horror as the fellow Human beings suffer at the hands of those trying to control it. this is, Not the way things are this is the Illusion of the way things are but there are daily more and more people seeing the reality of Mankind and its failed system of over-lordship. We as a whole are waking too the fact that as a Basic Human right have the ability to live lives as we see fit for us and those we love, not as it is dictated too us.
By controlling governments armies and police states keeping mankind enslaved to there way of life by brute force, We are Blessed In the Americas To have been given a constitution that proclaims peoples rights on these matters the problem is it will never see fruition as we believe it stops at our borders and have been taught so, and as long as it does we too are enslaved. Until the day we see our constitution as universal in Nature and for all people regardless of Culture, religion or creed or nation. We will remain enslaved. things are what they are !
I know that food and Houses really hold no value, if indeed there are those that go to bed Hungry or or so less fortunate than others they have even No bed to go too. I know In this world we live am not the only Man who feels the guilt of actually having a bed, or a roof over my Head. And I hate My life, Because I now have what others may never Have I am I know not an anomaly because I believe that as long as one suffers from hunger or homelessness or poverty we should in no way be comfortable in our lives. because I In my heart believe as A Christian, at one time the Church Had all things in common as well should we all, But we live in a world where, things are what they are!
Beware of those of Us who recognize it for the Apathy That it is. In the End Our Love for One another will Win!
